Location and staff were great. Would stay here again.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. It was nice to have the bar and restaurant in the hotel. Our room looked onto a beautiful church which was nice. The location was great, easy walking distance to lots of restaurants, bars and St. George's Market.

There was no good place to put our 2 suitcases. We did ask for a couple of luggage stands and they brought us one which was helpful. Additional shelving in the bathroom and counter space in the room would be helpful.

What was the highlight of ibis Belfast Queens Quarter

Overall I did enjoy my stay at this hotel. It had the ideal distance from Queens University and it was very close to shops and amenities. The Europa bus station was a 15min walk. Close to the hotel there were great coffee shops and restaurants and the bus stop was only 5 mins away. Staff was quite helpful, able to provide information for local attractions and make arrangements for us. The room (standard double) was spacious with storage areas and a very decently sizes bathroom.

Although I am not a very peaky person, I found the pillows quite uncomfortable to sleep. They were big and puffy (good), but they were quite hard to be molded to the desired shape (bad). Also, the soap dispenser run out of soap 1 day before our check out and it was not refilled in time.

Staff were great but my daughters bed was not changed from the previous guests, which is totally unacceptable, there were many stains on the bed and only notices when leaving

The main reason I chose this hotel was the location. It was close to one of the railway stations with regular trains to points of interest. It was also close to bus stops and a pleasant park.

I m afraid to say the day to day cleanliness needs to be improved. For example rubbish bin not emptied every day for a start.

Breakfast was generous but several items on breakfast were not hot. My wife ordered the avocado and egg on toast but the bread was not toasted which was disappointing.

Even allowing for the fact that Belfast is not a cheap city I feel that the cost with breakfast was on the high side considering that the hotel was not busy.

Good size room, comfy bed and pillows, close to public transport and city centre.

You can hear every noise loud and clear in this hotel, from the neighbouring rooms, the hall and the lift, there seems to be very little by way of soundproofing here. The sink in the bathroom took a long time to drain. In the morning the shower would suddenly spike to being extremely hot and then stone cold, this caught me out a couple of times and I would worry about showering children here. I got to breakfast half an hour before it ended and the selection was very poor, I was told it was just whatever was left. I wasn't too fussy and managed to find enough to do. But there was no milk or forks to be found and had to go round to the bar to ask a member of staff for these items as there wasn't anyone to be found in the breakfast area. He was very obliging and got me what I needed.

Hotel is in a lovely area of the city, street can be noisy outside but nice leafy location. Breakfast available from 4.30, hot brekkie from 6.30.am. Staff were really nice and friendly and helpful.

Many tv channels were fuzzy.

Good value in good location

Perfectly located for exploring Queens Quarter in Belfast, with lots of small supermarkets nearby, Deanes at Queens great value at lunch - and for sightseeing, the university campus, Botanic Park & the Ulster Museum shouldn’t be missed. Rooms compact and plain, as you would expect from this level of Ibis hotel, but perfectly adequate and bed v comfortable. Breakfast included 5 cooked-to-order options alongside continental, which was a nice surprise. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Having stayed there, we would definitely drop into the bar here as non-residents on an evening when we needed somewhere calm to sit for a while – pleasantly decorated with a nod to the Belfast context and unusually they have a Franciscan Well pale ale on tap. All in all this hotel punched above its weight.

Not as near town centre so be prepared to walk (not a massive distance though) is near to a stop for the hop n stopper bus however so you could pay for a ticket and use that

Pleasant, friendly staff. Clean room & public areas.

Expected a buffet breakfast but often things had run out, & felt the one member of staff on in the dining room & reception was very rushed to keep everyone happy. Asked for shampoo to be changed as empty but wasn't. My elderly Aunt never saw her bath mat again after the first night, taken away & not replaced.
